As a child Bruno Antony liked walking on the
pebbly beaches of his native Normandy. The sea had always fascinated him, made his spirit fly. His first creations inspired by cartoons were already brightly coloured ones. Today the sandy banks of the river Loire have replaced the Norman beaches of Bruno’s childhood. In his artwork there is an ongoing dialogue with memory with the inconstant that lives in everyone, the need to leave a trace. Bruno Antony’s bright intense colours and meticulous graphics combine in an unconscious symbolic system. His work appeal playful but the sincerity of his artistic commitment points to depth and intensity. The vivid colours of his work appear directly to the senses filling the spectator with immediate pleasure. short video site of the artist |
