Anna has been living in the pays Basque for nearly 18 years.
She was born in Hungary which she left, fleeing the communist regime, in 1981.
Without ever forgetting her native country she has found happiness in Euskal Herri thanks to the many similarities she finds between these two cultures.
After several years of working in the medical field she decided to devote her time to visual arts – organising cultural events and exhibitions.
When in 1990 in Sare and Bidarrai, she discovered the magic of sculpture, her own exhibitions started to become more frequent.
Her art has humour which gives a great deal of pleasure to people as well as the depth to make them reflect on life, on things which annoy or wound at times.
 “Art in all its forms  is something we can’t do without.” she says. “Without it everything is meaningless.”
